Dani Nobrega is an international dance Facilitator, Shamanic Practitioner and Director of The Groove Academy as a founding member of The World Groove Movement. For the past decade, Dani has traveled the world helping folks of all ages find and embrace their unique voice through dance.
Since Dani was a young girl, she has always turned to dance as an art form to express her emotions and heal. Her formal dance training is in Latin and Ballroom styles. In 2012, Dani found The Groove Method and met Misty Tripoli, which then set her life on a completely different track. As a Ph.D Candidate from Queen’s University, Canada Dani was studying and writing on the topics of critical pedagogy and alternative forms of learning. At this time, she began working with Michelle Hillier and took The Groove Method into schools across Canada. For a decade, the Groove team shared this creative dance experience with over 1 million students. Dani partnered with Misty Tripoli in 2014 and began her career as the Director of The Groove Academy. Her work involves developing education and programs, building the Master Trainer team and mentoring facilitators around the world. The Groove Academy has over 600 facilitators leading these experiences around the world. This work has taken Dani across Canada, the USA, Europe, Kuwait, Cambodia, Kenya, and other places.
As a lifelong student, Dani continues to study and practice a variety of healing modalities. Over the last few years she became a Joe Dispenza Advanced student and completed her accredited Shamanic Practitioner Training through the International Energetic Healing Association under the guidance of Beata Alfoldi. Dani continues to lead her life from her heart and assists folks on their journey of personal transformation and healing.

Since 2011, Dani has shared The Groove Experience in schools across Canada. She has grooved over half a million kids inspiring them to explore and express their unique creative gifts through movement. Dani has also created mindfulness programs, presented at education conferences and developed Groove for Kids training program, which she continues to educate facilitators in around the world.
Global Movement.
As a founding member of The World Groove Movement, Dani has dedicated the last decade to growing The Groove Academy, developing education and programs to support and mentor trainees and facilitators around the globe. Currently in over 40 countries with over 600 certified facilitators and growing every day.
Mentorship.
Dani has been mentoring women, youth and children for the last 10 years. As a Shamanic practitioner, Dani integrates her dance and embodiment work with ancient rituals and practices to support her clients on their path to deep healing and transformation.
